Grandmasters Anatoly Karpov and Yasser Seirawan will play a special chess exhibition match at the Chess Club and Scholastic Center of Saint Louis, US, from June 9-13. The chess match includes classical chess, rapid chess, and blitz chess games.
Tourney Format:Two Classical Chess Games: Both players get 90 minutes to play 40 moves and half-an-hour to play the remaining game with a 30-second increment given for every move from the beginning of the game. The scoring system will have three points for a win.
Two Rapid Chess Games: Both players get 25 minutes for every game and a five-second increment. Each game win will get two points.
Ten Blitz Chess Games: Each player will get five minutes to finish the game along with an increment of two seconds. Each win gets one point.
Prize Fund:1st Place: $10,000
2nd Place: $7,000
